Directions from the M1

Leave the M1 at Junction 25 (A52 north for Derby, dual carriageway).

Keep going until you come to a large island (pentagon shaped), then go straight across and follow the A6 Matlock signs. Short, one-way system, through pedestrian crossing (lights). At next traffic lights take the green left turn filter onto Kedleston Road and continue straight on, passing the University (on the right).

Travel approximately 1 mile then take the left turn for Hulland and Kedleston. Keep following this road past Kedleston Hall (on the left), through Weston Underwood village, past The Cock Inn (on left at the top of the hill) and follow the signs for Hulland Ward.

On entering the village of Hulland Ward, The Black Horse Inn is on the right betweeen the junction of the A517 and Kedleston Road. Just before this junction you will see a sign for "High Meadow" on left at the drive entrance and also a sign for Charles Walker Close. Keep right of Charles Walker Close and follow on down the drive through the stone gate posts into the grounds of High Meadow.

Directions from the A38

Heading North, follow the A38 into the outskirts of Derby onto the ring road, you will pass a McDonalds and a Garage on your left, go straight across the island and stay in the left hand lane for approximately 200 yards, then take the slip road keeping to the left up and onto Kedleston Road and past the University, from the University follow the directions as above.
